mtivi is a media player as well as an IPTV player: your own files, browsed by folder, with favorites, groups and the same player.
mtivi does not only play your playlist. It plays what you already own, from internal storage, a USB stick or an SD card, on every plan including Free.
Open it
The Local tab in the navigation bar. If you do not see it, add it under Settings, then Browsing, then Navigation Bar.
What it gives you

The same player
Local files open in mtivi’s own player, so you keep resume, seek, playback speed, aspect and zoom, audio track selection, your own subtitle files, and subtitles generated from the audio on paid plans.
Nothing is listed? Android asks for permission to read videos the first time. If it was declined, grant it from the empty screen or in the device’s app permissions, and the list fills in.
A USB stick on a TV box
Plug it in and let the device mount it. mtivi scans every storage volume it can see, so the drive appears beside internal storage rather than needing a file manager.
