One PIN for locked and adult content, set it before anyone else picks up the remote.
mtivi has a Locked Content PIN for adult categories and for anything you choose to lock yourself.
Set it
Settings, then Privacy, then the PIN entry. Until you set one, 0000 opens adult content, so this is the first thing to do on a family TV. Changing it later is in the same place.
Lock anything
Long-press a channel, a category, a film or a collection and choose to lock it. It then asks for the PIN before it will play. Locking is per item, so you can lock one news channel without locking the category it sits in.
Adult categories
Categories your service marks as adult are treated as adult automatically. If your service does not mark them, mtivi can also detect them by name. See Hide adult categories on an Xtream playlist.

The PIN is not recoverable from us. It stays on the device and we never see it. If you forget it, clearing the app’s data resets it, and that removes your local setup too, so write it down somewhere.
