mtivi opens on the tab you use most and keeps the rest one click away. This is what each one holds.
The tabs
Long-press is where the power is
Holding OK on a channel, a category, a movie or a collection opens its menu: favorite, pin, lock, hide, move into another profile, record a time slot, or rename your own collection. Any row that looks the same behaves the same, so one habit covers the whole app.
Put the bar in your order
Settings, then Browsing, then Navigation Bar chooses which tabs appear and in what order, so a tab you never use disappears and one you want, such as Local or Recordings, comes forward. Each profile keeps its own bar, so Kids can show three tabs while yours shows seven.
Control Center
Everything you hid, locked, pinned or reordered across the app is listed in one place under Settings, with a reset for all of it. It is the fastest way to answer the question “where did that channel go”.
Two views for each catalog. Live TV opens in EPG Mode or Library Mode, Movies and Series in Spotlight or Library Mode. Set the default for each under Settings, then Browsing.
Searching
Search lives inside each tab: channels in Live TV, films in Movies, shows in Series. It tolerates misspelling, and on Live TV it also searches what is showing right now in the guide.
