Paste one link and mtivi builds the channel list. What the link must contain, and what to do when it downloads but shows nothing.
An M3U link is a single web address that holds your whole list. mtivi reads it, splits it into categories, and keeps the channel numbers your service set if you ask it to.
Add it
- Settings, then Playlists, then Add Playlists
Choose the M3U Playlist tab.
- Paste the full link
It must start with http or https. Anything the service wrapped in quotes or a mail signature has to be trimmed off.
- Add a guide address if you have one
The XMLTV field takes the guide link your service gives you. It is the largest download of any sync, so it lands last.
- Save and let it sync
It loads but the list is empty

| It connected and returned no channels | The playlist is empty or the subscription has run out. Renew it, or ask your service for a fresh link. |
| The link opens a login page in a browser | You were given a portal address, not an M3U link. Use the Stalker Portal tab instead. |
| Some channels play, most do not | The list is fine. Those streams are down at the source. Hide the dead ones and move on. |
M3U or Xtream? If your service also gave you a username and password, prefer the Xtream tab. It syncs faster, separates movies and series properly, and reports your expiry date.
