See when your playlist subscription expires
mtivi reads the expiry date your service reports and shows it beside the playlist, when the service provides one.
Your mtivi plan and your playlist subscription are two different things with two different dates. This page is about the second one: the playlist you buy from your IPTV service.
Where the date is
Settings, then Playlists. Each playlist shows its status and expiry underneath it: a real date, Never, or Unknown.
| What it says | What it means |
|---|---|
| A date | The date your service reported for that playlist. |
| Never | The service reports no end date for it. |
| Unknown | The service does not publish an expiry at all. Common on M3U links and some portals. |
| Expired | The service says the playlist has ended. Renew it with them. |
What an expired playlist looks like
Channels stop with a message naming the real reason, and a refresh is rejected. The catch is that many services answer a wrong password and an expired playlist in exactly the same way, so the app cannot always tell them apart. If your password is definitely right, treat it as an expiry and ask your service.
Renewing does not need a new setup. Once your service renews the same playlist, open Settings, then Playlists, then Refresh Playlist. Everything you built stays where it was.
Your mtivi plan is separate
It is shown in the account section of the app and on mtivi.app. A lapsed mtivi plan never touches your playlist, and an expired playlist never touches your mtivi plan.
