Watch something that already aired with catch-up
How far back you can go on each plan, how to restart a program you joined late, and why some channels offer nothing.
Catch-up replays programs that have already been broadcast. It only exists where your IPTV service keeps an archive, so it is a feature of your playlist as much as of the app.
How far back
| Plan | Catch-up window |
|---|---|
| Free | 6 hours |
| Pro | 72 hours |
| Trial, Lifetime, Max | Unlimited |
Your service’s own archive length still applies. If they keep two days, that is the ceiling whatever your plan says.
Restart what is on now
Joined a film twenty minutes late? Open the player controls and restart the current program, then jump back to live in one press when you want to.
Catch-up is grayed out
| Reason | What it means |
|---|---|
| The channel has no archive | Your service publishes an archive length per channel, and many are zero. |
| The program is outside your window | Older than your plan allows, or older than the service keeps. |
| The playlist is an M3U list | Archive support depends on the link templates your service supplies. Xtream playlists report it properly. |
No guide, no catch-up. Replay is addressed by program, so a channel with no guide data has nothing to replay from, even when the archive exists.
