One video is one unit, retries are free, and here is what each plan includes every month.
AI translation runs in the cloud, which costs us money per use, so it is the one thing in mtivi that is counted.
What counts as one unit
One movie, or one episode, fully translated. Not per playlist and not per character.
- The first translation of a video in a calendar month costs one unit.
- Every retry, every extra batch and every re-watch of the same video that month is free.
- A result already translated for that video is free.
What each plan gets

Lifetime leaves this out on purpose. A one-time price cannot carry a monthly bill. On-device translation, which costs nothing to run, is included on Lifetime in full, and your own key gives you unlimited AI translation on any plan.
Live TV
AI translation does not run on live channels. Live is handled by the on-device engine, which is instant and unlimited. See Translate subtitles into your own language.
