One account holds as many devices as you like. What each one carries, and what a paid plan covers.
Your account can hold any number of devices. Each one links with its own Device ID and Key.
Add one
- Install mtivi on the new device
Every device has its own Device ID and Key, in the device and account section of the app.
- Open mtivi.app and sign in
Use the account the first device is already on.
- Devices, then Link a new device
Enter the new pair and submit.
- Back on the new device, choose I have linked it
A plan covers one device
Linking is free, paid plans are per device. A second TV can sit on your account on Free forever. To give it paid features, either buy a plan for it or move an existing one across. See Move your plan to a new device.
Sharing your setup between them
Playlists, favorites, progress and collections follow you from one device to another on a plan that includes cloud sync: Keep your setup in sync across devices. Without it, each device keeps its own.
Managing them
Every device on the account is listed on mtivi.app with the plan it holds, so you can see at a glance which TV is paid and which is not.
