Content you move out of the ordinary view, reached by a gesture that does nothing at all until you give it a PIN.
Private is Kids in reverse: a view holding what you moved out of sight, reachable only by a gesture and a PIN.
Set it up
- Long-press something and choose Private
A channel, a category, a film or a show. The first time, you are asked to set a Private PIN.
- Remember the PIN
It is the only way in, and we cannot read it or reset it for you.
Getting in and out
Long-press the Settings tab and enter the PIN. Going to Home leaves it again, so it never stays open behind your back.
With no Private PIN set, the gesture does nothing at all. No message, no hint, no grayed-out menu item. Someone pressing around the app finds no trace that the profile exists.
What is inside
Only what you moved there. It keeps its own favorites, its own layout and its own tab bar, exactly like Kids.
Plans, and backups
Included on the trial, Pro, Lifetime and Max, and what is already inside stays reachable if a plan ends. A backup only includes the Private section when you enter the Private PIN as you tick it, so exporting your setup does not quietly expose it. See Export a backup and restore it.
